Property Prices in Paris are on the Increase

While the euro zone financial crisis continues many investors and French property owners will be interested to know that the price of property in Paris and the surrounding suburbs has risen by 22.5% over the last year.

Even more surprising is that this increase is the biggest increase that has been seen in nearly 20 years.

The average price per square metre in Paris is now 8,159 euros with the 6th arrondissement being the most expensive area with the price per metre being up to 11,690 euros. At the other end of the market the 19th arrondissement was found to be the cheapest where the property price per square metre was expected to fetch 6,350 euros.

Overall property prices in France are steadily rising which is excellent news in a somewhat uncertain finiancial climate.
